THIS won't be on
sale in your high street and at more than £1,000, even
if it was, you wouldn't buy it.
But the
Gotive H41, designed for use in
warehouses and on shop floors, looks so cool the firm
should produce a consumer version.
The touch-screen
handheld computer is rain and dustproof, and can take
being dropped on concrete.
It also sports a
barcode scanner and smart card reader, which lets
shopkeepers take credit card payments away from the
till.
In a revised
version that would be easy to adapt to become a memory
card slot, for transferring pictures from a digital
camera...
