The hospital has recently upgraded its scanning system, with the new Argox barcode readers. Royal Bolton Hospital: The Radiology Department purchased the IT3800 linear imagers to track patients at the hospital. Royal Liverpool Hospital: The Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Metabolic Medicine at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen NHS Trust upgraded its barcode readers.
