Barcode Verifiers

Barcode verifiers verify the quality of barcodes to international standards. Barcode verification is typically used in supply chain applications, as many major retailers now impose many heavy fines on suppliers for sub-standard barcodes.

There are two main standards for verification: traditional and CEN/ANSI/ISO. The barcode verifier is normally available as a desktop, fixed position or portable device.

The leading barcode verifier manufacture is Hand Held Products. The Quick Check® line of verification products offers quality control tools for verifying the readability and standards compliance of printed linear bar code symbols.
